Sentinel (the company that I work for) and Cisco are teaming up for a presentation focused on cloud computing, and I will be one of the presenters. The really nice thing about this event is that the presentation will take place in the morning for about an hour, followed by a lunch, and then the rest of the afternoon the attendees will enjoy watching both the Chicago Cubs and the White Sox play in their opening day games!

Sentinel & Cisco Opening Day Event
Monday, April 1
Champps Americana Restaurant
2301 Fountain Square Drive
Lombard, IL 60148
630-627-3334
Starts @11:00AM

There is nothing that I like better than to be able to hang out with other IT professionals and talk shop in a relaxed atmosphere, and this event is all about creating that type of environment. If you wish to attend you can register through Sentinel’s web site. My colleagues and I will each be giving a 20 minute presentation (mine will focus on what the definition of cloud computing is), and afterwards we will be available to answer attendee questions.

Combine this with a great lunch being served, both opening day games playing on the big screens in the afternoon, refreshments, and a chance for a few of the attendees to win $100 gift cards as prizes in a raffle, and you know this is going to be one fun event! So please join me by registering today for this event, and spread the word amongst your colleagues as well. I look forward to seeing you there!
